About this job
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Work with Solutions Design Team and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and design Business objects Universe that fully meet business requirements, ensuring adherence to design standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain Business Objects Universe so that it supports accurate and efficient reporting and dashboards as per requirements.
- Implement changes to existing objects to support requested enhancements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical design documents (for the Business Objects Universe) – collaborate with BOBJ Dev leads while defining Universe Technical Specifications.
- Build Universe ensuring that best practices are utilized with regards to re-usability, operational efficiencies, and assurance of data integrity.
- Collaborate with ETL team throughout SLC to ensure that data meets the needs of reporting.
- Transition Technical Requirements to BOBJ Dev Leads.
- Ensure that Unit Tests and Peer Reviews have been completed to ensure development quality.
- Multi-tasking and handling changing priorities in order to effectively work within the PDB BI team. Must be highly collaborative and team player.
Candidate must have experience in architecting Global BI solutions in Business Objects. Prior experience architecting multi subject area Business Object Universe is a must. Candidates must have hands-on experience in designing DW data models and building Bobj Universe. Candidates must be innovation driven, collaborative and team player. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with overall 10+ years of BI experience and 5+ years of experience in Business Objects Universe design and Build. Pharma/Consumer Goods industry experience desired.
