SAP and Informatica ETL Lead

Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Work with Global Development Leads and Solutions Design Team to understand Business Requirements and design ETL Processes to fully meet requirements, ensuring adherence to development standards and Best Practices.
  • Create Technical ETL Design specifications per the PDB BI Solution Center’s standards and transition to off-shore development team.
  • Reuse existing capabilities where applicable.
  • Review technical design with Global Leads and Solutions Design to ensure overall agreement on approach and business requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Global Leads to ensure consistency of solutions globally.
  • Manage and participate in the development of ETL processes, including Informatica Mappings, UC4 Jobs, Schedules and Auditing processes as per specifications.
  • Ensure that all unit tests and peer reviews have been completed to ensure high quality of deliverables.
  • Review development work produced by offshore team to ensure that development standards are met and that work is developed per our standards and best practices.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of Development Resources. Utilize development tracking and status tools to communicate overall progress to project PMs and Global Leads.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Design team and Reporting team throughout SLC to ensure ETL solutions support Reporting and Analytic requirements.
  • Ensure seamless transition of ETL development and enhancements to operational team.
  • Document/Updates to Work Instructions and System Documentation as needed.
  • Must be capable of managing and mentoring offshore resources remotely. Must be a highly collaborative and team player with an eye towards overall team success.
Candidate must have ETL Design experience. He/She must have experience with Informatica and Oracle. Candidate must have experience tuning processes and SQL to achieve optimal performance. Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer or Animal Health areas is a plus. Candidates must be an innovative, collaborative team player. Ideal candidate will have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 7+ years experience in ETL development, and 5+ years experience with Informatica. Knowledge of UC4 or another job scheduling tool is highly desired. Experience leading offshore development teams is essential.
