Altek Beissel Needles engaged Cyret Technologies to implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, which included Financials and Order Processing, Production Scheduling, Advanced Pricing, Requirements Planning, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing-Shop Floor. With this implementation, Altek Beissel gained tremendous benefits of increased manufacturing capacity, increased sales (by up to 50%) without increasing back-office staff and improved order response time from a minimum of two weeks to 24 hours.
Cyret provided Altek Beissel a comprehensive and well thought out solution, which included enhancement, set ups and support in the following areas of JDE: Marketing and Sales, Procurement, India Localization, General, Dash board, Customer self-service, Inventory and Finance.
Cyret’s experts provided a comprehensive solution under Marketing and Sales, with solutions that included update of item master records, maintenance of multiple order acknowledgement statuses, customizations for sending details to customer via email, minimum and maximum order value per customer set by updating the customer master, setup of credit collection management and its reports. With solutions like order activity status for tracking the stage of a particular order, reports were also customized for order acknowledged, goods received, goods shipped and delivered. Customization was provided for customer master maintenance, which has work flow for approval of address book additions of new customer/vendor/employee. Address masters with distinct category codes were created for capturing the prospects on the customer master.
Also, in Procurement, automatic PO generation for the stock items was set, cash requirements report (AP) was customized and automatic generation of the payments due was set up. Under Finance module, the past cash flow, cash flow projections and budget were set, thus adding value and fulfilling client’s need of having better reports.
Cyret provided a system clean up by deleting old upgrade package, OMW logs, project, work centre messages, job queue and scheduler history. A complete system recovery solution was provided with proper backup strategy set in place.
Cyret’s functional experts (D&L, Finance and Manufacturing) provided not just implementation and testing services, but functional support to users and complete issue resolution. Cyret’s technical support experts provided services in data upload and testing, analysis of existing modifications and customization, technical documentation and performance upgrade and tuning. A detailed analysis of training needs was done by Cyret for multiple roles in the organization and a robust change control mechanism was followed with the co-operation of Altek Beissel Needles Limited management for long lasting value.
